VEDANZA ARTISTS INTERNATIONAL

Based in Luxembourg Vedanza a.s.b.l. is a registered non-profit organization working in the Arts. Newly established in 2006 by choreographer and dance artist Emanuela Iacopini, with philosophy researcher Isabell Siempelkamp and sound artist and composer Rajivan Ayyappan, Vedanza produces mixed media productions for touring and provides educational outreach programmes for children, young people, and adults.

The aim of Vedanza is to build a network of innovative artists working in literature, dance, sound and new media. The network will support artists in Luxembourg as well as other cities and aims to support, create and perform contemporary work. In addition it will create a collaborative environment to research, experiment and develop art practice with new technologies and a wide range of artists.

The organization includes an agency dedicated to the development and support of health in dance - DANCESCIENCE.NET - an international network of dance educators and researchers who aspire to safeguard the health and improve the performance of dancers.
